V/O It's closer to Canada than to Canterbury - and it's the subject of this week's NH Outlook. |
Hello/Intro NorthReturn to index of stories... |
Hello, I'm Richard Ager and welcome to NH Outlook. Our program is hitting the road in order to focus on the issues that are facing the different regions of the state. What's important in Plaistow may be news in Pittsburg. So we're visiting all 7 regions including this week's destination, the Great North Woods. ON CAM: We are at the Great North Woods Interpretive Center in Colebrook. V/O: The exhibits, which change frequently, celebrate the natural history of the region with displays focusing on its abundant wildlife. The interpretive center is also a place to show off cultural artifacts of bygone eras including dresses of the late 19th century. Built in 2000, the center is a place for many organizations to show off the region as a place to live, work and hopefully start a business. http:/www.northernnh.com/ http:/www.greatnorthwoods.org/ http:/www.buzgate.org/8.0/nh/state_home.html?st=nh http:/berlindailysun.com/ http:/www.colebrookchronicle.com/ http:/www.unionleader.com/ |
